Born in Ireland, now living on the Wirral Breda was introduced to batik while working at the Triskel Arts Centre in Cork, and it soon became her preferred medium, over twenty years ago. Breda has been a member of the Artists Association of Ireland, and the Batik Guild of Great Britain, and exhibited in Northern and Southern Ireland, London, Liverpool, Cyprus and France.
